Fabulous Fourth Grade~ Painted Ancient Greek Vases

I'm so proud of how these fourth graders handled this project. These are huge! These kiddos know I like to work big and this was the perfect ancient Greek project to do super size. They're about 2ft. tall!

With this size, students sometimes have the tendency to just slap paint on any ol' place but they really planned out their design and were careful with their colors.

We studied the shape of real ancient Greek vases and  the shape and placement of handles.

Ancient examples are earth toned, but I love how some incorporated brighter colors too.
