Thrilling Third Graders~ Georgia O'Keefe's Flowers!

Third graders wowed me with their flowers inspired by Georgia O'Keefe!
Flowers were drawn first with glue and then lines were traced with black marker when dry

Then a combination of oil pastels and watercolor were used to fill in, spectacular!

Krazy Kinders~ Snails!

Kindergartners learned some amazing facts about snails. For instance, did you know they have 80 teeth??

Then we drew our snails with crayon and decorated their shells with many patterns including letters, numbers and even their name!

We finished them off with liquid watercolor and mounted them on tag board creating a beautiful mosaic border.

Perfect for Spring!

"Son of Man" by Rene Magritte Parody!

"Son of Man" by Rene Magritte 1964

Eagle View artists created a parody of Magritte's "Son of Man"!
Some used famous characters and other used the same mysterious figure in the his original painting.
I love how their favorites and life interests show through in their choices!

"Son of Olaf" :)

Wow, someone chose me!
