Eagle View artists created a parody of Magritte's "Son of Man"!

Some used famous characters and other used the same mysterious figure in the his original painting.

I love how their favorites and life interests show through in their choices!

Our second year with clay here at Eagle View and I think these kids did awesome!

Second grade owls were a hoot!

Third grade Big Mouth Fish were hilarious!

And the Fifth grade free choice animals were adorable, big, but adorable!

Fabulous Fourth graders~ Snow Crystals!

Fourth Graders learned quite a bit about snow crystals and were amazed by the incredible photographs taken by this guy back in the early 1900's.

 "Snowflake" Bentley, aka Wilson Bentley photographing snowflakes in 1925!

Then we created our own using oil pastel, markers and layers of cool colored paper!

Beautiful!

Love the intricate borders they created too!
